How I Work

As a queer therapist firmly rooted in a framework of cultural humility, I have a passion for serving the LGBTQ+ community and culturally diverse groups. I lead with an open heart, an open mind, and genuine curiosity about your unique story.

My approach is authentic, collaborative, and interactive. My primary focus is to cultivate a genuine and meaningful relationship with you that is built on a foundation of safety, trust, and unwavering respect for your personal sovereignty. I am committed to understanding your unique circumstances and cultural context so I may provide a therapeutic experience that will best meet your needs and help you reach your goals.

I most enjoy supporting my clients in exploring and making meaning of their past experiences in order to have a more fulfilling present and future. In particular, I focus on early experiences of attachment with primary caregivers — exploring these relationships allows us insights into how you navigate, interpret, and experience the world. As your therapist, I will help you draw upon your own internal strengths to become the best possible version of yourself, live your best possible life, and empower you to maintain that life independently.
